The founders of the current Weslo Staff have been providing staffing services to the majority of South Australian events since the 1970's through an alliance of Weslo Crowd Control Pty Ltd, Adelaide Commercial Theatres Pty Ltd and Weslo Holdings Pty Ltd.
The clear need was an organisation that specialised in security personnel focusing on crowd control related around events and patron management. This need also included general staff to deliver the customer services of ushers, ticket sales, gate attendants, car parking and cash management. This alliance was formally amalgamated into the single entity of Weslo Staff Pty Ltd in 2000. In 2008, a successfully operating Patrol Dog company for over 20 years was purchased by Weslo Staff Pty Ltd to extend the security services offered.
