Currently we are reviewing all the requests that have come through for JobKeeper through Weslo.
We are cross checking all applications against the criteria set by the federal government and once we have a list of staff who meet the criteria, we will be sending out the official ATO JobKeeper Employee Nomination Notice to everyone.
We hope to have this done by early next week
WHAT IS THE JOBKEEPER PAYMENT?
The JobKeeper Payment is a payment made to eligible businesses and not-for-profits affected by the Coronavirus to support them in retaining employees.
Eligible businesses that elect to participate will receive a payment of $1,500 per fortnight per eligible employee to support the people they employed as at 1 March 2020 who are retained in employment.
Employees will receive a notification from their employer that they are receiving the JobKeeper Payment. The majority of employees will need to do nothing further.
Employees in the following circumstances will have additional obligations.
The Australian government has announced a $1,500 per fortnight wage subsidy to eligible employers amid the coronavirus. Check your eligibility, how much you’ll get and how it works with the jobkeeper payment.
To All Weslo Staff Employees,
There is still a large amount of debate relating to Jobs Keeper and Jobs Seeker payments. These
matters have not been passed by Parliaments, but we feel that we should write to you to advise you that we are trying under difficult situation to ensure that all people that have worked with Weslo Staff can benefit from either of the two initiatives are kept up to-date when we can.
